In Q4 ,Nokia 7- or 9-inch MeeGo tablet rumored to be running ARM
Their success rate drops significantly when it comes to companies outside their home HQ’d Taiwan. Remember, when you hear it discussed Nokia Tablet with a 7 – or 9-inch screen. DigiTimes, in conversation with “the claims of manufacturers upstream components” that the device is manufactured Foxconn – about 100 have already been produced engineering samples – will run on ARM-based products with a T4 target. If this is true (and it’s a big IF), it would certainly run the OS Meego (which is built a prototype Quanta-up) when it ships. Sure, DigiTimes has been a foamed SmartBook ARM Nokia mid-2010 for nearly a year. And you know what? It is mid-2010 with Smart books / netbooks now out of fashion and tablets in the kitchen. The thing is, we would have thought that Nokia would be more for Intel Moorestown in support of their partnership opt Q4, given the timing. But it’s just a rumor, let’s not take much.
